Woman Dies In Afternoon Traffic

Garden City police are investigating a car crash that killed one woman.

Police say a woman was driving with four children on Ustick Road near 43rd Street when the car struck a tree in the median. Drivers traveling behind the car stopped and helped rescue the children, but the driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say she was wearing a seat belt.
