They’re one game away from the Little League World Series.  They face Oregon Saturday at 1pm on ESPN.   The West Valley All-Stars continue their impressive run towards the Little League World Series.  The Idaho team beat Washington 8-7 Friday afternoon in the NW Little League World Series Elimination Game.  The last inning was filled with drama as Washington had two men on with two outs.  Lance Pike (2-0) was the third pitcher used by West Valley Coach Tony Hilde.

Washington closed within one run on a few unforced errors by West Valley.  It appeared the Cascade Team had tied the game.  However, the third base umpire ruled the game over when the Washington Third Base coach touched the runner to run home.

The umpires said that was a violation of the rules and ruled the game over. There cannot be physical contact between a player and a coach while the ball is in play.  Click here to check out the win!

Idaho will play Oregon in the Northwest Championship Saturday afternoon at 1 pm MT.  The winner will advance to the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
