Senator Marco Rubio declares to the Christian Broadcasting Network that religious liberty is under attack in America.  "We are at the water's edge of the argument that mainstream Christian teaching is hate speech," Rubio said.  He outlines his point that if you don't support same sex marriage you're labeled a homophobe or a hater.  The senator from Florida expanded on his concerns that Christianity is under attack from the militant left.

"We had people in this country removed or ostracized from their corporate boards because they contributed to a traditional marriage campaign," Rubio told CBN.  He warns that the teachings of mainstream Christianity, the catechism of the Catholic Church would be declared hate speech.

The senator's statements will play well in socially conservative Iowa and South Carolina.  If Rubio's actions can match his words, he could well be on his way to winning the Republican Nomination.
