It's election day today in the Treasure Valley. This is all about the schools. They are hoping to get your approval on being able to spend, expand and reorganize. You make the call today - your vote counts.

Schools throughout the state are asking for your approval to spend money. The thing is: This is your money. You get to decide where it goes. From building new schools to repairing that eye sore school officials have been looking at for years to maintenance on playing fields - today is the day the schools will get a "YES" or a "NO" from you.

Who is asking for funds and where are the funds going?

  • Boise School District | $172,500,000 | Construction of new schools and improvements to existing schools
  • Kuna School District | General obligation bonds | $40,000,000
  • Kuna School District | Supplemental levy | $2,500,000 per year for two years | Maintaining and operating schools
  • West Ada School District | Plant facilities levy | $16,000,000 per year for 10 years | Purchase of school sites, renovation/improvement of existing buildings
  • Horseshoe Bend School District | Supplemental levy | $300,000 | Maintaining and operating schools
  • Camas County School District | Supplemental levy | $250,000 per year | Maintaining and operating schools
  • Kuna School District | $40,000,000 | Construction of new high school, improvements and renovations to existing schools
  • Kuna School District | Supplemental levy | $2,500,000 | Maintaining and operating schools
  • Marsing School District | General obligation bonds | $13,500,000 | Construction of a new middle school and improvements and renovations to high school and elementary school
  • Vallivue School District | Plant facilities levy | $2,000,000 per year for 10 years | Construction of schools and renovations plus other expenses
  • West Ada School District | Plant facilities levy | $16,000,000 per year for 10 years | Purchase of school sites, renovation and improvement of existing buildings
