If you’ve always wanted a cabin in McCall, the Idaho Department of Lands will be auctioning off 35 state-owned lots around Payette Lake this weekend.
29 of the lots up for auction have cabins on them, but the land is owned by the state, and the cabins and other improvements on the land are owned by leaseholders as personal property.
Public Information Officer Sharla Arledge says money made from the property managed by the Idaho Department of Lands will go into a permanent endowment fund for education and a select list of other agencies.

The 35 cottage sites up for auction this weekend are being managed by Corbett Bottles Real Estate Marketing. The first round of the auction is set to start at 1 p.m. at The Riverside hotel in Boise.
