The owners of Les Bois Park have notified their employees that the park will close its doors at the end of June if legislation to ban instant-racing betting terminals is passed. The ban has already passed the Senate and awaits action by the House this week.
Seventy-five employees got the notice at a meeting Monday and 28 more will get the message in the mail sometime this week. The park employs over 270 people during the spring and summer, most of them seasonal workers.
