Idaho State Police say a two-vehicle crash detoured I-84 traffic for nearly three hours westbound just east of Caldwell Thursday morning.
67 year old James Zellner of Nampa was in the right lane driving west in a his car when he slowed for traffic and the tractor-trailer behind him, driven by Jeffrey Cumpton, of Spokane, which was unable to stop in time.
Cumpton drove on to the right shoulder, striking Zellner's car which was pushed into the median, and Cumptons Semi rolled on the shoulder.
Both drivers were transported by ground ambulance to St Alphonsus Nampa.
