Old Fashioned Ice Cream Social

We went to this one last year and loved it. Roseberry’s an incredible place in its own right, with over 20 buildings moved back to their original sites, after massive Roseberry restoration efforts. Grab yourself some ice cream, hot dogs, hamburgers, lemonade, or some famous Finn bread, and watch the broom making, log sawing, and admire the cabin building prowess of the Finns, who put dwellings together without chinking. (“If it fits, it’s Finnish!”).
Stroll through the classic car show, or take a buggy and tractor ride around the town site. Proceeds benefit the Long Valley Preservation Society. FREE admission.
