Read why one local school told a student to remove the Confederate Flag from his truck.  A Cossa Academy Student has been asked to remove the Confederate Flag from his pickup truck because school officials believe it's a gang symbol reports KIVI Television.  The article details how the flag was a gift from the student's girlfriend.  He was told by school officials the flag should be removed while on school property.

The student returned to school with his mother.  According to the article, the administration mentioned they received information from the local police department that the flag was a gang symbol.  The Caldwell Police Department told KIVI they didn't view the flag as gang related.
