Sergeant shot during Coeur d'Alene patrol has died.

Idaho State Police are investigating a shooting that left a Coeur d'Alene police officer in critical condition this morning.
Chief Lee White says at approximately 1:35 a.m. Tuesday morning says Sergeant Greg Moore was shot by Jonathan Renfro, who has an extensive criminal history. Moore is in "very critical condition" at Kootenai Health, and is fighting for his life, according to White.
Around 4:43 a.m. Idaho State Police confirmed the suspect was in custody.
Officials said Renfro then got in Moore's patrol car and fled. He was found hiding underneath a semi-truck in the Post Falls Walmart parking lot by K9 units.
