Homedale school district feels they have come up with a way to save the district money, four day school weeks.At Monday night's meeting, school board members decided to adopt the four-day school week for the 2014-2015 school year.

Homedale Superintendent Bob Sauer says they started looking into four-day week option back in November after a second bond levy failed to pass voter approval. It is now up to the five school board members decide to switch the district to a four-day week.

The school district estimates it would save $40,000 to $70,000 a year.
