When 'Guardians of the Galaxy' star Chris Pratt filmed his acceptance of the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, we all thought he had beat the internet. Blue Ice vodka? Smirnoff Ice? Genius! However, that was until the great and playful Benedict Cumberbatch stepped up to the plate and filmed the greatest response to this viral phenomenon to date.

In true Cumberbatch style, the 'Hobbit' and future 'Jungle Book: Origins' star created a cinematic masterpiece, first accepting the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge in the established tradition before launching into a series of chuckle-worthy bits where he just can't escape all the sneak attacks. The ending is probably the best, if only for the fact that his white t-shirt gets drenched (wink, wink).

The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge spreads awareness of the neurodegenerative disease ALS, as well as raises money for The ALS Association. As of Friday, August 22, the charity stunt, which quickly went viral, raised $53.3 million in donations. Those willing can make contributions HERE.
