The Custer County Sheriff's Office says the FAA has taken over the probe of a plane crash near Challis Friday that killed four men, including the pilot.
A search and rescue team has recovered the remains of the victims.

They were identified as Andrew D. Tyson, 46, Russell T. "Rusty" Cheney, 34, and Aaron J. "A.J." Linnell, 39, from Teton County, Idaho and John H. Short, 70, from Park City, Utah.

The identities of the victims were made possible through contact with Creative Energies and employees of the Double D Ranch, where the men had stayed prior to the plane crash.
